$5,000 Charitable Donation Presented during PBA '10!

Local 777 Victim's Benevolent Fund
A power plant under construction in Middletown, Connecticut exploded with earthquake force on February 7,
2010 as workers purged natural gas lines in preparation for the plant to open this year. Six people were killed
and more than two dozen were injured as a section of the plant collapsed and burned. Three Pipefitters,
Raymond Dobratz, 58, Peter Chepulis, 48, and Ronald J. Crabb, 42,were all active members of Local 777 based
in Meriden, CT. As a result, Local 777 Pipefitters formed the Local 777 Victim's Benevolent Fund to assist
families of the victims of this terrible accident. Graciously, Prescription Solutions donated $5,000 to this fund
in honor of the explosion victims.
